Down Town

Down Town

Saturday night I walked down to town wanted a beer or two.

Went into bar not very far from where I used to be

There was a guy asking me why I wanted a beer or two,

Yes it was Saturday night I walked down to town wanted a beer or two.

He looked at me and said may I sit down, sorry I meant you no harm.

I said ok for me but you better let be asking to many questions

Was looking around as I sat down not very much to see.

It was Saturday night I walked down to town wanted a beer or two.

In comes a lady looking so nice, I thought what the hell I had to look twice.

She went to the bar and asked for a beer no that’s what I like to hear.

the bar was shaking and she was breaking another bottle of beer.

Yes it was Saturday night I walked down to town wanted a beer or two.

She turned around and looked at me, said, hei man what is gone be.

I said come on over here and sit by my said, we`ll talk it over and you can decide.

No pressure on me, but you have to see you’re a dam good looking lady.

Yeeee it was Saturday night  I walked down to town wanted a beer or two.

One day

One day

Its early in the morning a new day has begun

I looked in the paper what’s going on

There is a face I recognize seen her before

Yee she looks so nice

And I thought for my self what she has done

she must be the bravest of everyone

Down at the corner with baker’s house

People are waiting for the bus to come

Who knows to where and who knows to what

one is too late and the bus is gone

And I thought for myself he didn’t wake up

He has to wait for the next bus to stop

I came at work ten past eight took me some time

That’s why I am too late

I met a guy who had lost his way

Where he came from he would not say

I and I thought for myself why should I know

If he would he had told me so

Woke up at six now the day has gone

I thought for myself this day has been long

All the things I planned to do it’s not

so important to make it came true

And I think for myself what’s too warry

A new day will come and that’s to morrow

Monday blues

Monday blues

 Monday morning and working time

Monday morning and the weekends gone

Don’t feel like working, got things to do.

Got a house to pay for

Got mouth to feed,

Got a car in the backyard

Got everything a need,

don’t feel like working got things to do.

Got to see my sister

Got to help my mother

Got to help my brother

Don’t feel like working got things to do

Got to relax in the sun

Have a beer or two.

Got to help ma baby,

Yee she wants me to

Don’t feel like working got things to do

When she walks on the floor

and into the night.

I don’t feel like working,

yee I know it’s right.

Don’t feel like working, only to night

På havet-Norwegian lyric about a fishermann
